Terms & Conditions of Sale

The following Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to any and all products, brands or services of Reno Lighting Inc.


Pricing Terms

All Prices are in (USD) United States currency and are subject to change without notice.

Prices are in effect at the time of quotation and are subject to change without notice. Unless prices are quoted as firm, Reno Lighting reserves the right to invoice at the prices in effect at the date of delivery. Taxes are not included in the given prices.


Minimum Order Terms

Orders of $100 or more are not subject to a minimum order service charge. For orders that do not meet the minimum dollar amount of $100 before taxes, a $20 service charge will be applied.

PREPAID USA – STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE

Prepaid Shipping Eligibility All orders must meet a minimum value of $1,200.00 USD (before taxes) to qualify for prepaid shipping. This offer applies to standard-sized packages and pallets only.

Oversized Packaging and Pallets

Orders requiring oversized packaging or pallets must meet a minimum value of $3,000.00 USD to qualify for prepaid shipping.

For orders between $1,200.00 USD and $3,000.00 USD that require oversized handling, all associated shipping costs will be billed to the customer.

Orders Below Prepaid Minimum

Orders with a total value below $1,200.00 USD are not eligible for prepaid shipping. All shipping charges will be applied to the customer’s invoice.

Shipping Terms and Conditions

Reno Lighting reserves the right to select the carrier best suited to fulfill delivery requirements. Reno Lighting is not liable for lost or damaged shipments and will defer to the carrier’s claims process in such cases.

At its discretion, Reno Lighting may provide assistance with claims. For full details, please

refer to Reno Lighting’s Terms and Conditions.


Shipping Terms

 All shipments that meet prepaid shipping will be delivered using our own vehicles or by third party shipping companies at our discretion. Orders below the minimum prepaid will have all delivery charges applied to the customer.

Special shipping requirements that cause additional shipping expenses above normal or regular costs may be charged to the customer, including but are not limited to the following.

  • Timed or appointment delivery.
  • Multiple delivery attempts.
  • Missing or incorrect critical information about the delivery site and tools needed to make the delivery.


Air or Sea Shipping

If special air or sea shipments are required to reach a specific destination, additional charges will be applied.


Tailgate Service

$55.00 Not included on prepaid minimums


Shipment & Storage

Delivery of goods must be made within 30 days of Reno Lighting receiving the purchase order, or subject to possible storage charges. Orders exceeding 30 days may not have stocked product on order guaranteed.

LED Tube Lamps

Reno Lighting will not assume any responsibility for damage caused by transport on opened/broken case quantity lamps of 3 feet up to 8 feet in length and will be subject to a 20% repackaging fee. If a customer wishes to order broken/opened cases of T8/T5 lamps, they will have to sign a release form before making any such order.


Cancellation Penalty and Charges

Delivery and stock orders may be cancelled prior to shipping. Restocking or failed delivery charges may apply. Reasons for charges include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Delivery is already in transit.
  • Pre-scheduled delivery with third party transportation.
  • Refused delivery.

If an order is cancelled or refused at the confirmed destination, all costs associated with delivery, restocking and administration fees may be charged to the customer.


Claims for Damaged or Short Shipped

All Reno Lighting products have been factory tested to be free from defects prior to shipping. For all prepaid and charged shipments, the title passes to the purchaser upon delivery to the destination.

All claims for damage or shortages must be reported to the carrier at the point of accepting the delivery. A written note detailing the damage must be on the waybill and signed by the carrier. All claims must be submitted to Reno Lighting within 7 days of receiving the damaged or short shipped delivery. Claims reported after the 7 days will not be accepted. Claims on products that have been modified or altered from the intended purpose of the product will not be accepted.


Limited Product Warranty

Reno Lighting warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use and service at the time of shipment. Products offered by Reno Lighting must be stored, installed and operated under suitable conditions in accordance with, but not limited to, the latest National Electrical Code, cULus, CSA, and ANSI specifications.


Trademark Policy

Reproduction in print or electronic of any trademarks, brands or logos is prohibited without prior approval. Sale of all Reno Lighting products over the internet is prohibited without prior approval. Sale or export of Reno Lighting products outside of the USA is prohibited without prior written approval.
